- After 23 years in the corporate world, I gave it all up to bake cookies. Well, partly true.We purchased the Inn and made a gallant attempt at doing our regular jobs by day and Innkeeping by night...assuming I hadn't flown off to meet with clients. After my current corporate job was eliminated almost one year to the day of purchasing the Inn, the decisions were made and I am now the CFO, CEO, COO, and CBW (Chief Bottle Washer) at the Inn. The best part is I no longer have to do the pipeline report or the "what have you done for me lately" report and have substituted them for the weather report. C'mon and follow us for a while and see how exciting it is to go from the corporate world to a small resort town where life slows down and makes you appreciate the "real" things in life.
